World Nurses Week May 12-18

Our Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yurdanur Dikmen, delivered a series of lectures between May 12–18 in celebration of International Nurses Week, at the invitation of various universities and healthcare institutions. Prof. Dr. Dikmen shared insights on whether artificial intelligence represents a threat or an opportunity in nursing care, the impact of technology on health equity, and the critical role nurses play in this evolving landscape. These knowledge-sharing activities have contributed to enhancing the national visibility of Kocaeli Health and Technology University’s vision for technology-driven, science-based, modern, and innovative health education. Under the leadership of our university, digitalization and AI-focused initiatives in health sciences continue to serve as guiding principles for the healthcare professionals of the future.
