We held the White Coat Ceremony of the Faculty of Pharmacy

On May 14th, World Pharmacy Day, our Faculty of Pharmacy students came together for the White Coat Ceremony, marking the beginning of their professional journey. On this meaningful day, the future pharmacists proudly donned their white coats with hope, pride, and determination, stepping into a path that will leave a lasting impact on both their own lives and society. Opening speeches were delivered by Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Talip Emiroğlu, Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Firdevs Karahan, and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Gönül Şahin. Across all speeches, the importance of embracing a profession that carries responsibility for humanity—beyond scientific knowledge—was strongly emphasized. The future pharmacists were encouraged to approach their profession with a spirit of continuous learning, patience, dedication, and a firm commitment to ethical values.
