We have successfully completed our 2025–2026 Spring Semester Academic Evaluation Meeting

The meeting, held with the participation of our academic staff, opened with keynote speeches by the President of our Board of Trustees, Dr. Talip Emiroğlu, and our Rector, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas. The speeches highlighted our university’s current achievements, strategic goals, and visionary stance in the digitalizing educational landscape. During the day-long sessions focusing on key areas to strengthen our academic quality and research infrastructure, Prof. Dr. Firdevs Karahan first delivered a comparative internal program evaluation presentation. Following this, detailed performance and benchmarking analyses of various programs and departments were presented by:
- Prof. Dr. Yurdanur Dikmen (Department of Nursing),
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Gönül Ertunç Gülçelik (Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation),
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Pınar Hacıbeyoğlu (Department of Computer Engineering),
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülhan Ünal (Faculty of Dentistry),
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Münteha Özsoy (Faculty of Pharmacy),
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Ruhan Çelik (Department of Psychology),
- Prof. Dr. Murat Atik (Department of Business Administration),
- Lecturers Yasemin Akdemir, Sefa Sobcalı, and Nilay Akyıl (Avrupa Vocational School, First Aid and Emergency, and Computer Technologies Programs).
Additionally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Gülçiçek Zengin shared the recent work of the Graduate Education Institute, while Prof. Dr. Yurdanur Dikmen delivered a comprehensive R&D presentation to guide our university’s future scientific projects. Alongside academic evaluations, innovative processes to shape our university’s future were planned during a practical workshop titled “AI-Supported Education and Training Information System,” led by Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, Lecturer Sertan Turan, and Hilal Nur Tınas, placing technological transformation at the center of our educational quality.
