We Held the “The Power of Innovation for Tomorrow’s Nurses” Meeting

At Kocaeli University of Health and Technology, we once again underscored the power of innovation in shaping the future of the nursing profession. During our event, we comprehensively explored how innovative approaches in healthcare are transforming the role of nurses and enhancing the quality of patient care—offering inspiration to the healthcare professionals of tomorrow. The program began with opening remarks by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas; Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yurdanur Dikmen; and Deputy Governor of Kocaeli, Aslan Avşarbey. The event featured Chief Physician of Kocaeli City Hospital, Prof. Dr. Bahri Elmas, along with the founding members of the Innovative Nurses Association and experienced nurses—MSc. Meryem Yaşar Kocabey, Gözde Bayraktar, Arzu Aktaş, and Seda Özdemir Aktaş—who shared their insights into the clinical impacts of innovation in healthcare. In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz Doğan Merih, Coordinator of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at TÜSEB, delivered a presentation contributing to the rich content of the program.
