About Summer School
Dear Students ;
In accordance with the provisions of the 2023 Summer Education Directive for undergraduate and associate degree students of our university, the Summer Education will be administered for 8 weeks (face-to-face), 7 weeks of lectures + 1 week of exams. Some items of the calendar and directive are listed below.

KOSTU SUMMER EDUCATION DIRECTIVE
Course Enrollment Procedures
Article 8 (1) In summer education, a student can take a maximum of 5 courses without any conflicts.
Article 9 (1) Students can also take the courses that they have never taken, failed, passed, but wish to upgrade in the lower semesters in summer education. The last grade obtained from these courses is valid.
Article 10 (1) At the end of the spring semester, students with a GPA of 3.50 and above can take 1 (one) course from the upper class with the decision of the board of education unit, provided that they have taken and succeeded in all the courses required to be taken until the semester they are in.
Article 11 (1) Students can take the course / courses that are not offered within the scope of Kocaeli Health and Technology University Summer Education or will be deemed appropriate by the administrative board of the education unit they are registered to, from a different university provided that the learning output and content are appropriate.
Enrollment Procedures for Students from Different Universities
Article 12 (1) Students coming from other universities can enroll in courses by paying a fee per ECTS in line with the principles determined in summer education, with the decision of the Executive Board to be given by their university. Grades of achievement obtained in the summer education are evaluated within the scope of the relevant article of our university’s education and examination directive.
Withdrawal from Course
Article 13 (1) Students who enroll in the course opened in summer education can withdraw from the course by submitting a letter of withdrawal to the education unit they are registered to until the last working day of the second week of summer education at the latest.
(2) No refund will be made to students (including students from outside the university) who want to leave the course opened after registration.
Important : For the courses you want to be opened within the scope of Summer Education, you must fill in the summer education course request form.
