Kocaeli Health and Technology University visits Huawei
Kocaeli Health and Technology University visited the Istanbul Huawei R&D Center on February 28, 2025, at the kind invitation of Huawei. During the visit, Huawei Turkey Strategy and Business Development Director Xiaheng Summer and Product Engineer Deniz Okan Taspınar introduced the R&D Center’s work and products, and discussed potential collaborations.
Attendees included Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Firdevs Karahan, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Nevcihan Duru, Dr. Lecturer Ercan Ölçer, Huawei Turkey Strategy and Business Development Director Xiaheng Summer, Huawei Turkey ICT Academy and Talent Business Development Manager Kübra Harput, Huawei Turkey ICT Academy and Talent Business Development Manager Zhouwenjia Annie, Huawei Senior Public Relations Manager, and Product Engineer Deniz Okan Taspınar.
The University recently became a new member of the Huawei ICT Academy Program, a process initiated by the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS). This visit served as a continuation of their mutual collaborations.
The Huawei ICT Academy Program aims to develop talented young people studying in information and technology-related fields at universities. As part of the program, university students can take free and certified additional courses and training on topics such as 5G, artificial intelligence, and network technologies.
