Technical Visit Made to Casper Technology

A technical visit was made to Casper Technology’s R&D and testing center by the academicians of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Kocaeli Health and Technology University. During the visit, the performance, thermal analysis, battery, screen, and mechanical durability testing processes conducted on computer systems were examined on-site.

During the meetings, the test environments used by Casper were toured, and technical information regarding the testing processes was shared. Detailed information was obtained, particularly on the application methods of performance, thermal measurement, screen, battery, and mechanical durability tests, as well as the software and hardware infrastructures utilized and the evaluation criteria.

Furthermore, the meeting included evaluations regarding the test infrastructure planned to be established within our university. Information was exchanged about the procurement processes for the physical spaces prepared for the test laboratories, air conditioning systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), computers, and other technical equipment. The determination of the software and hardware to be used within the scope of the cooperation to be established between the parties and the clarification of technical requirements were discussed.

During the visit, the procurement processes of some specialized testing equipment and technical planning related to laboratory setups were also evaluated. In addition, ideas were exchanged on enhancing university-industry cooperation, and potential collaboration opportunities for our students were discussed.
