Sector Campus brings together Migros and KOSTÜ Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences

Migros IT officials, faculty members, and students from KOSTÜ’s Engineering and Natural Sciences Faculty met for the Project Portfolio Management and Agile Approaches course we took as part of our Sector on Campus Program at our university.

The event was attended by our instructor from Migros, Project Portfolio and IT Agile Transformation Director Yeşim Şahin; Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics Director Murat Çelebi; Agile Coach Elif Çöçen; FENS Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nevcihan Duru; faculty members Dr. Mehmet Kara, Dr. Vildan Yazıcı, Dr. Elif Pınar Hacıbeyoğlu, Dr. Fulya Akdeniz, Res. Asst. Candide Öztürk; and students taking the course. The event was organized by our faculty’s Computer Club.

The following topics were discussed at the event:

· R&D studies and projects conducted at both institutions

· Migros’ internship programs and IT personnel recruitment processes

· Agile approaches across institutions

· Potential collaborations and joint projects
