Artificial Intelligence Course Preparation Workshop Held

Kocaeli Health and Technology University organized an “Artificial Intelligence Course Preparation Workshop” to enhance the knowledge and skills of all students and staff in artificial intelligence technologies, starting in the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

The opening remarks of the workshop, organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, were delivered by Kocaeli Health and Technology University Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas and Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Nevcihan Duru. In the theoretical part of the workshop, FENS faculty members Dr. İsmet Karaduman provided information on “What is Artificial Intelligence?”, Dr. Ulaş Vural on “Fundamentals of Machine Learning,” and Dr. Nur Banu Albayrak on “Creating Artificial Intelligence Course Content.” In the afternoon, a workshop was held with participants using the KNIME data analysis platform.

Based on the feedback from the participants that the workshop will make a significant contribution to the artificial intelligence courses to be taught in all faculties in the spring semester, Kocaeli Health and Technology University will continue to contribute to our country’s stronger future by keeping pace with developments in education, research, and technology.
