The “Development of an Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Neuronavigation System,” a project in which our faculty members Prof. Dr. Nevcihan Duru, Dr. Nur Banu Albayrak, and R.S. Eray Dursun serve as researchers, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK TEYDEB 1507 Industrial R&D Projects Support Program’s 2023/2 Call. The project, which will bring numerous innovations to neuronavigation systems—an essential part of today’s brain surgeries—from an artificial intelligence perspective, comprises research faculty members who are neurosurgeons and software developers from various universities. The project’s final product is expected to be a resounding success in the field of neurosurgery.
