Kocaeli Nursing Home Visited as Part of Respect for the Elderly Week

A meaningful visit was made to Kocaeli Nursing Home by Kocaeli Health and Technology University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Club (FTR Club) within the scope of the Respect for the Elderly Week activities held between 18–24 March.

At the event, our students met with nursing home residents, engaged in pleasant conversations, played various games, and spent the day together. This gathering fostered a warm bond between our youth and elders and strengthened intergenerational communication.

In this event, organized with an educational approach that touches every segment of society and values ​​people, our students both strengthened their awareness of social responsibility and had the opportunity to empathize with elderly individuals.
