Our department aims to train professionals who adopt a holistic approach to addressing the care needs of women and newborns at every stage of the life cycle, develop evidence-based practices, conduct research, and enhance the social visibility of the midwifery profession.

Our Vision

To become a nationally and internationally recognised, innovative, productive and leading department in midwifery education; to become an academic centre that pioneers science in the fields of women’s health, childbirth, maternal and infant care, and social awareness, shaping the future model of midwifery with digital health applications.

Our department has adopted the vision of positioning the midwifery profession not only as a care service but also as a scientific field that supports women’s empowerment.
