The White Coat Ceremony at KOSTU was Held with Enthusiasm

Kocaeli Health and Technology University (KOSTU) held a White Coat Ceremony for students in the Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Rehabilitation departments of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Reaching a significant milestone in their academic lives, the students donned their white coats with great pride and excitement on this special day.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Talip Emiroğlu, Chairman of the KOSTU Board of Trustees, wished the students success in their careers and congratulated them and their families who have brought them to this day. He expressed his pleasure in being with them on this special day.

KOSTU Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas stated: He stated that the white coat represents the beginning of a long journey, and that students at KOSTÜ are equipped with communication and technology skills to succeed in the business world. He emphasized that the students are fortunate to be studying at the only university that utilizes artificial intelligence in health sciences education.

Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Rabia Terzi told the students at the ceremony that the white coat symbolizes diligence, healing, hope, and a love of service. Prof. Dr. Rabia Terzi said, “While practicing your profession, you will also be practicing an art. You have chosen a very noble and sacred profession. Use technology, improve your communication skills, and develop yourself socially and culturally.” The ceremony was filled with emotional scenes, with families and academic staff in attendance, as the students proudly donned their white coats and took a hopeful step toward their future.
