Our Faculty’s Academics Participated in the Quality and Transformation Workshop in Maternity Services.
Representing the Faculty of Health Sciences at Kocaeli Health and Technology University, Dean Prof. Dr. Yurdanur Dikmen, Vice Dean and Head of the Midwifery Department Dr. Ebru Çalışkan, Head of the Nursing Department Dr. Ayşe Eminov, and Dr. Bilge Nur Yıldırım Bayraktar participated in the Quality and Transformation Workshop in Maternity Services organized by the Kocaeli Provincial Health Directorate on May 20, 2026.
The workshop, which brought together expert academics, health administrators, and health professionals, addressed the development of maternity services, increasing service quality, strengthening maternal and infant health, and transformation processes in maternity services.
Our faculty members actively participated in the working groups established within the workshop, sharing their views and suggestions, and contributing to the workshop outcomes with their scientific knowledge and academic experience. In particular, evaluations were made regarding the improvement of quality standards in maternity services, the dissemination of evidence-based practices, and the strengthening of mother-friendly care services.
The academics of the Faculty of Health Sciences have successfully represented our faculty with their professional knowledge and academic work; they have made significant contributions to the studies conducted on quality and transformation processes in maternity services.
The Faculty of Health Sciences at Kocaeli Health and Technology University continues to play an active role in scientific and professional studies aimed at improving health services, strengthening cooperation with stakeholder institutions, and contributing to public health.
