University–Industry Cooperation Visit from KOSTÜ to Kordsa

Prof. Dr. Murat Atik and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Şen, faculty members of the Department of Business Administration at Kocaeli Health and Technology University (KOSTÜ), met with Mr. Suat Hayri Bekircan, Operations Director at Kordsa, and his esteemed colleagues. During the meeting, potential collaborative initiatives within the scope of university–industry cooperation were evaluated. Furthermore, the delegation presented details on the mentorship program conducted by our Department of Business Administration and discussed potential contributions that Kordsa could offer to this process.

The participants also exchanged views on assessing the currency of our department’s curriculum and its alignment with industry expectations in light of external stakeholder feedback. The meeting, which provided a valuable opportunity to gain insights into Kordsa’s operations and corporate practices, concluded with a shared commitment to supporting our students’ professional development, updating our educational programs in line with current industry needs, and establishing sustainable university–industry partnerships. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Kordsa Operations Director Mr. Suat Hayri Bekircan and the entire Kordsa team for their kind hospitality and valuable contributions.
