University–Industry Collaboration Visit to Federal Mogul

Asst. Prof. Dr. Gül Çiçek Zengin Bintaş, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Prof. Dr. Murat Atik, faculty member of our Department of Business Administration, held a highly productive meeting with Federal Mogul Plant Manager Mr. Erdem Altuğ and Engineering Manager Mr. İsmail Sağlam. During the meeting, information regarding our university’s current initiatives was shared, and evaluations were made on projects aimed at further strengthening university–industry cooperation.

Specifically, a mutual agreement was reached on the contributions Federal Mogul can make to the mentorship program successfully conducted by our Department of Business Administration, as well as on integrating their industry experience into academia during curriculum development processes.

A strong future is built when academic knowledge and industrial experience align toward a common goal. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Erdem Altuğ and Mr. İsmail Sağlam for their valuable contributions and kind hospitality.
