🌸 Protecting and improving women's health,
🎗️ Cancer screenings and the importance of early diagnosis,
🩺 Preventive health services and regular health check-ups
At the KOSTÜ stand, where information was provided on these topics, a contribution was made to improving citizens' health awareness and health literacy.
Through a public health quiz organised by academic staff and students of the Department of Midwifery, scientific knowledge was shared with the community in a fun and interactive setting. Participants had the opportunity to test their health knowledge while raising their awareness of women's health and preventive health practices.
At KOSTÜ, we see education, scientific research and social contribution as inseparable parts of our university's core responsibilities, and we attach importance to fieldwork in which our students can use the knowledge and skills gained during their education for the benefit of society.
Under the coordination of Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Asst. Prof. Ebru ÇALIŞKAN, together with our faculty members and students, we continue to be part of the community to improve women's health, strengthen preventive health services and increase health literacy.
We bring knowledge to the community and education to life, working together for a healthy future.
We thank the Kocaeli Provincial Health Directorate, the Başiskele District Health Directorate, the Healthy Life Centre, the Turkish Red Crescent, the Green Crescent, the Başiskele Social Services Directorate and all stakeholder institutions that contributed to the event.
