It encompasses the prevention of illness and injury, the promotion of recovery, and the alleviation of suffering through compassionate care. Nursing is a professional discipline that advocates for holistic and optimal healthcare services for individuals, families, groups, communities, and ultimately all humankind.<\/p>\n<p>Nursing is one of the six professions with free mobility rights within Europe and continues to be one of the most needed healthcare professions worldwide and in our country. In the United States, it has long maintained its position as the \u201cMost Trusted Profession in Terms of Honesty and Ethical Standards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a profession that unites science and technology with the art of caregiving, nursing enables students to realize their full potential, develop communication, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills, and prepares them to become future leaders who will shape the healthcare systems of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The mission of the Department of Nursing is to provide the highest quality undergraduate and graduate education in an environment that allows students to realize their potential. The department aims to train distinguished nursing professionals who contribute to universal science through creativity and research; who embrace scientific thinking, ethical conduct, and evidence-based practice; and who make a difference in their profession and society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Career Opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Graduates of the Nursing Department can work in a wide range of healthcare settings, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hospitals: Wards, Intensive Care Units, Dialysis Units, Operating Rooms, Outpatient Clinics, and Dispensaries<\/li>\n<li>Community and Public Health Centers: Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Centers (A\u00c7SAP), Community Health Centers (TSM), Cancer Early Diagnosis and Screening Centers (KETEM), Community Mental Health Centers (TRSM), and Child Monitoring Centers (\u00c7\u0130M)<\/li>\n<li>Special Fields: Occupational Health Nursing, School Nursing, Correctional Facilities, Nursing Homes, and Home Care Centers<\/li>\n<li>Other Institutions: Military Health Units, University Medical Centers, Private Clinics (such as ophthalmology, aesthetic, and dental clinics), and Universities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Nursing Profession ; integrates the science and art of care, focusing on maintaining, protecting, and improving health at the highest level.
