{"id":8317,"date":"2026-03-10T12:20:32","date_gmt":"2026-03-10T09:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kocaelisaglik.edu.tr\/eczacilik\/?p=8317"},"modified":"2026-03-10T12:20:32","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T09:20:32","slug":"important-announcement-regarding-internship-iii","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kocaelisaglik.edu.tr\/eczacilik\/en\/announcements\/important-announcement-regarding-internship-iii\/","title":{"rendered":"Important Announcement Regarding Internship &#8211; III !"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Students,<\/p>\n<p>The internship insurance required for the internship period will be provided by the university.<\/p>\n<p>Before starting the internship, students must receive Occupational Health and Safety training and document that this training has been successfully completed.<\/p>\n<p>All documents within the scope of Internship III should be obtained in PDF format from the internship section in the student menu of the KOST\u00dc Pharmacy website and used accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Students must fill out the Compulsory Internship Form within the scope of Internship III and submit it to the Dean&#8217;s Office with a wet signature and stamp, along with a photocopy of their identity card, by 15:00 on May 15, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Students will submit the Internship Evaluation Form and the General Information Form to the authorized person at the institution where they will be doing their internship.<\/p>\n<p>Students will fill out the Internship Logbook in accordance with their learning objectives. The internship logbook must be filled out legibly with a blue ballpoint pen and stamped and signed by the authorized institution official. (Pencil use is prohibited.) The signature and stamp of the authorized institution official are required on all pages, including the pages where the report is written. Logbooks that do not comply with the procedure will not be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Internship logbooks will be obtained ready-made from the contracted stationery store.<\/p>\n<p>It should be remembered that the internship logbook is a scientific report and should be written accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Students in the English program will write the pages in their logbooks in English.<\/p>\n<p>The Internship Evaluation Form will be signed and approved by the authorized pharmacist after the internship is completed and given to the student in a sealed envelope (the part where the envelope is sealed must be wet-signed). Unapproved forms will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p>The student must submit the internship logbook and the internship evaluation form to the Internship and Professional Practice Commission within 15 days of the start of the 2026-2027 Fall semester.<\/p>\n<p>Students cannot change their internship location after starting their internship. In the event of death, natural disasters, or extraordinary circumstances that make it difficult for the pharmacist\/student to continue, the internship location may be changed upon the recommendation of the commission and the approval of the Dean&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Students are required to comply with the provisions of the Higher Education Institutions Student Disciplinary Regulations, the working principles of the institution where they are interning, and the rules regarding working conditions, discipline, and occupational safety during their internship.<\/p>\n<p>If a student is found to be absent from their internship location without a valid excuse during inspections conducted by the Internship Commission, their semester internship will be canceled, and the student will fail the internship.<\/p>\n<p>The student will complete this internship at a public pharmacy or hospital within the borders of Turkey, at their own discretion. The pharmacist in charge of this private pharmacy must have at least 5 years of experience as a private pharmacy manager.<\/p>\n<p>For Internship III:<\/p>\n<p>Within the borders of Turkey, it can be done in private pharmacies, as a hospital pharmacist, or in the industrial sector in pharmaceutical production facilities, medical equipment production facilities, cosmetic manufacturing plants and\/or R&amp;D centers related to these production areas, or in pharmaceutical warehouses. If it is done in a hospital or pharmaceutical company, Saturday is not counted as a working day. Accordingly, the student will determine the pharmacy and pharmaceutical company where they will do their internship.<\/p>\n<p>For students who will do Internship III in a private pharmacy:<\/p>\n<p>They should contact the pharmacist of the private pharmacy where they want to do their internship themselves and arrange the pharmacy where they will do their internship. Internship III will be 30 working days (The periods of Internship III are specified below).<\/p>\n<p>For students who want to do Internship III in a hospital:<\/p>\n<p>Internship III will be 30 working days (The periods of Internship III are specified below).<\/p>\n<p>For students who will do Internship III in a pharmaceutical company:<\/p>\n<p>They should contact the representative of the pharmaceutical company where they want to do their internship themselves and arrange the company where they will do their internship. Internship III will be 30 working days (Internship III periods are specified below)<\/p>\n<p>The dates for Internship III are as follows, and the internship should be arranged according to one of these dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>July 6 &#8211; August 18, 2026 &#8211; Group 1 Internship III<\/li>\n<li>July 20 &#8211; August 28, 2026 &#8211; Group 2 Internship III<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENTION: For all details regarding the internship, the Faculty of Pharmacy Internship Guidelines, which can be found on the regulations and guidelines page of our university&#8217;s website, must be reviewed.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Students, The internship insurance required for the internship period will be provided by the university.
